Dr Sydney Sanders grew up in sunny Nelson and moved to Auckland to start her chiropractic studies in 2016. She’s an avid animal lover and passionate about promoting the importance of diet and fitness regarding overall health. Amongst the chaos of Auckland city living, Sydney believes that finding the perfect balance between diet and fitness is crucial.

On her days off you’ll find Sydney in the gym weightlifting or enjoying the great outdoors. She’s interested in pushing herself outside of her comfort zone and improving the way her body performs while making sure she’s fuelling it in the healthiest way possible.

Sydney is a recent graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. She loves learning and is always finding ways to further her knowledge about the human body. Sydney’s aim is to help people of the Waiuku community function at their best and do what they love with ease.

Chiropractic Assistants

She loves her job and enjoys helping people who seek wellness.

Catherine Crispe is a vital and intragral part of the Balance family, our Chiropractic Assistant who joined the team in September 2011.  You'll possibly also recognise her from Southern Podiatry, and around town as well.

She is Mum to two active children, who happily cycle many kilometers at events around the country.  Catherine loves her job and enjoys helping people who seek wellness. She discovered Balance Chiropractic when her daughter was born and now both children and husband have regular adjustments.

Catherine loves going to the beach with her family, reading as much as possible on the subject of health and nutrition, catching fish and relaxing with good friends.  She also makes an excellent brew of Kombucha, puts up with bad jokes from other CA's and keeps the place ticking over beautifully.

Mum of three children, and a dog; she loves coffee, books and crossfit.

Like many people, Bex sought Chiropractic help following an injury.  More specifically, a neck sprain (doing handstand push ups - don't worry, she's getting better at them).  4 years ago,  Bex moved to Waiuku with her husband and 3 kids.  Since arriving, they've added a dog to the whanau and are happily settled - considering themselves 'locals'.  She now gets checked and adjusted regularly, not just when things hurt.

Bex has a passion for Customer Service, she enjoys being 'front of house', holding babies or playing Alphabet games with any kids in the rest area.  Since joining the team at Balance in February 2018, she tells us her favourite part of the job is the many interactions with our Practice Members and seeing people prioritise their health and well being.

As both the Operations Manager and a Chiropractic Assistant, she'll help make the bookings, reply to your emails, streamline processes and introduce new technologies to help the practice run smoothly.

Chiropractic assistant and student by day, Pro-Wrestler by night!

Meet Kieran, the most recent addition to the team. Kieran is studying Chiropractic in his second year and if we're lucky, he may choose Waiuku as the place to start his career.

You may recognise Kieran from around town, he has been a familiar friendly face at the Supermarket, and is a talented musician.  Most surprisingly though, is his career as a Professional Wrestler!  When he's not flying off the top rope, you'll see him on Wednesdays running shift, and covering others during holidays when needed.
